Adams, Alayne
Alayne Adams writes stories with warmth and wit. She grew up in Middle Tennessee’s dairy country, telling stories to a variety of farm animals and pets. As they say, you can take the girl out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the girl, so even though she currently lives in the capital of Pennsylvania, she makes it to an agrarian setting every chance she gets.
After pursuing a B.A. in history at the University of Tennessee and an M.A. in writing at Seton Hill University, she now writes full-time and gives presentations to other writers. She also cares for a much smaller menagerie of three sassy parrots and a sweet Schipperke, who lives to go on long walks during which he helps her plot her stories.
Alayne has written two books for AVALON, In Perfect Harmony and The Not So Simple Life.
