Nadia Shworan was born in Italy, grew up on a farm in the Canadian Prairies, married her childhood sweetheart and had two wonderful sons, who share her love of writing. Her career included being a high school English teacher and a school principal in Calgary, Alberta. She now resides in Nanoose Bay, B.C. She has written novels, short stories, nonfiction articles, and poetry. Among her many interests are gardening, knitting, playing with her grandchildren and art. Nadias watercolor paintings hang in several galleries and are on the Internet. She is also a Toastmaster and conference speaker.
