An Annie Kirk Mystery
Cara North inherits a beach house named Harbor House from her grandfather, horror novelist, Hadrian Coyle. She enlists the aid of her friend, mystery writer Annie Kirk, to help locate an unpublished manuscript that would be worth a small fortune if sold on today's market.
Annie is alone at Harbor House except for Brendan Marshall, the caretaker. Marshall is doing research for a biography on Coyle and is stunned by Annie's resemblance to Coyle's long-lost daughter, Miranda. Is there a connection?
This is just one of the many secrets they try to uncover as they search for the lost manuscript. Are the answers hidden in the stories of Hadrian Coyle or diaries left by Annie's mother? They are led on a labyrinth of clues in the creaky old house and unearth far more than a missing manuscript in their search.
Norma Seely lives with her husband, three dogs and three cats on the Oregon Coast within sight of the Pacific Ocean. Secrets of Harbor House is her seventh published novel. When she isn't writing, reading, or gardening, she's walking the beach in search of inspiration for another story. Lighthouses and local history are particular passions. A book-oriented person, she once owned her own bookstore and currently reviews mysteries for a bookstore newsletter.
In the late 1970's, Avalon published two of Norma's novels, The Treasure of Seacliff Manor and Leaves on the Wind, under the pen name Yvonne Norman.
