AN AVALON MYSTERY
Hear My Cry
by E.L. Larkin

A Demary Jones Mystery

Demary (pronounced De-mary) Jones is the owner of Confidential Research and Inquiry, a small firm specializing in genealogy and historical research. Demary knows she isn't qualified to investigate a murder, but when a client is shot as he leaves her office, she accepts the grieving widow's lavish job offer - money is no object, just find the killer. As Demary herself says, she has a weakness for money, and she doesn't think locating a murderer will be any harder than ferreting out an obscure sixteenth-century ancestor. In any event, detecting doesn't prove to be that easy, even with the help of her old friend, homicide detective Lieutenant Sam Morgan. But Demary persists to the end, despite three more killings and some unwanted conclusions about people she thought she knew.

A former Seattle resident, E.L. Larkin now lives on the Long Beach Peninsula with nothing between her front door and Japan but sky and sea. Retired after many years in the business world, she now has the time and space to pursue a lifelong ambition to write. As the owner/operator of restaurants and cocktail lounges in Washington, California, and New Mexico, Ms. Larkin has seen many different lifestyles, all of which have contributed to her writing.

Hear My Cry is the third book in this series.
