AN AVALON MYSTERY
False Impressions
by Ina Coggeshall ISBN 978-0-8034-9469-6

In 1945, a group of paintings confiscated by the Allies in Paris were stolen. Now, fifty years later, two pieces of the collection suddenly appear in the window of a Boston art gallery.

Once again, the sometimes romantic, mostly professional, duo of attorney Jennifer McCallum and homicide detective Bill Conlon, find themselves presented with another complicated case. Joining forces with Gamble Coulhoon, retired CIA spy and longtime friend of the McCallum family, they begin a search that takes them back into history, propelling them down a dangerous path that uncovers two murders and an international network of gun running and art forgery.

From the streets of Boston to the intrigue of Paris and Marseilles to a villa in Avignon, Jennifer and her colleagues unravel the secrets of a mystery nearly half a century old.

Ina Coggeshall is a native to the Boston area. She holds a B.A. in English from Stonehill College and is a member of several writing organizations, including Sisters in Crime and the Romance Writers of America. She and her husband Jack divide their time between Massachusetts and Florida. Ina is presently at work on the next Jennifer McCallum mystery.

False Impressions is Ina’s second mystery for AVALON.
