AN AVALON CAREER ROMANCE

Big Sky Dreams
by Lauri Olsen

When feisty, independent Laura Carey moves from Manhattan to a southwestern Montana farmstead, she packs her determination along with her video editing equipment. Laura strives to build her business and become an integral part of the close-knit community. On her journey of self-discovery, she produces a documentary on the reintroduction of wolves to the Yellowstone National Park ecosystem. She tries to deny her attraction for local rancher Morgan Franklin, which teaches her the price of pride. In seeking to attain professional recognition and personal happiness, Laura's life becomes interwoven both with Morgan's and with the colorful tapestry of the Big Sky Country.

Lauri Olsen lives at the foot of the Bridger Mountains in Bozeman, Montana, where she is on staff at Montana State University. From a fifth-generation Montana family, Lauri's work reflects her love of the Big Sky Country. Her articles, photography, and fiction have appeared in national and regional magazines, and she is currently completing her next novel.
